Mahindra Scorpio-N Owner Explains Why He Chose The Scorpio-N Over A Fortuner

Mahindra Scorpio N is currently one of the most talked about SUVs in the market. The ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’ as Mahindra likes to call it was launched in the market recently and the official deliveries for the 2023 Scorpio N has started. Some videos show mega deliveries while some people share their experience of taking delivery of their new Mahindra Scorpio N. Here we have one such video where a Mahindra Scorpio N customer explains why he bought Scorpio N over Toyota Fortuner Legender.

The video has been uploaded by HER GARAGE on YouTube. In this video, the vlogger talks to the owner of a Scorpio N who was on his way home after taking the delivery of a Scorpio N. The owner mentions that he has been thinking about buying a new vehicle for some time and he had Scorpio N and Toyota Fortuner Legender in his mind. His favourite was Ford Endeavour however, the brand has officially left the Indian market and he could not buy one anymore. The owner was then confused between Scorpio N and Fortuner Legender.

He was looking for an SUV with features and Scorpio N was ticking all the checkboxes. He mentions in the video that he personally liked the type 2 Toyota Fortuner and that the current generation Fortuner was looking more premium than rugged. Scorpio N on the other hand was looking way more imposing and muscular although not as much as the Scorpio Classic. It was offering more features that too at a very competitive price. The owner likes to do off-roading and that is why he went with the 4×4 version. The owner mentioned that he wanted to buy the Black colour but his father wanted to go with the Everest white shade. He had booked the Scorpio N online when the bookings had started and got the SUV at introductory prices.

The owner found that Scorpio N was offering more in terms of features when compared to a Toyota Fortuner Legender. He also felt that the Legender or Fortuner is overpriced and Scorpio N is currently a value-for-money product. Even if the Fortuner was priced lower, he would have still opted for Scorpio N for its features and premium looks. The owner felt that the interiors of Fortuner looked dated. He is now planning to take the Scorpio N to extreme off-roading sessions to test its capabilities.

Mahindra Scorpio N is available with a diesel engine. The diesel engine is a 2.2-litre mHawk turbocharged engine.
