Made for the off-road with a number of unique rugged additions, Mahindra has introduced a limited-edition Scorpio S11 Adventure off-road SUV. Find out more in the article by Wheels24.

This Mahindra Scorpio is kitted with capable equipment like steel bumpers, integrated fog lights, a tow bar and a set of silk-black 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in chunky 245/65R16 all-terrain tyres.

Mechanically, the S11 is powered by an uprated 2.2-litre mHawk turbodiesel that delivers outputs of 103kW and 320Nm, sending power to all four wheels thanks to a new six-speed manual gearbox.

As a matter of convenience between navigating different terrains, the driver can toggle between 4H and 2H setups at speeds of up to 100km/h. At the same time, the chassis offers 165mm of ground clearance.

Inside is a 7-inch infotainment system complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard that also acts as the eyes for the reverse camera, along with USB and Bluetooth interface. Other driver-centric features include electronic climate and cruise control, a voice-command system and electric windows all around.

Rajesh Gupta, CEO of Mahindra South Africa, says: "What has not changed and will never change, is the value-for-money that the Scorpio offers. Like before, this big SUV offers large SUV capabilities, ride quality and space with the affordability of a compact SUV."

It comes with a five-year or 90 000km service plan and a four-year or 120 000km mechanical warranty.
