Mahindra is expected to launch the next generation Bolero in 2020 with substantial exterior and interior revisions Mahindra & Mahindra has the Bolero as the ever-dependable workhorse for several years and it has proved its worth in the sales charts. The  Mahindra Thar  with its old-school styling and hardware makes for an excellent canvas for custom builders to exercise their art. A significant number of Mahindra Thar owners chose to personalize their steeds to stand out of the crowd as well as enhance their functionality. We had come across a fair share of customized Thars but this one is certainly our favourite. Executed by Ludhiana-based Sikand Car, the custom Mahindra Thar features extensive aesthetic and mechanical modifications. The mellow seven-slat radiator grille makes way for an angry-looking unit which houses LED headlamps (with integrated DRLs). Mahindra is working on the all-new Scorpio and the car has been spotted on the Indian roads already. The heavily camouflaged model does not reveal much about the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio but it sure looks longer than the current version of the Scorpio. The all-new Scorpio will be launched in early 2020 and the official unveiling of the car is expected to happen at the 2020 Auto Expo. Along with the upgrade to make it comply with safety norms, Mahindra has discontinued a number of 7-seat variants in the 2.5-litre diesel Bolero line-up. We’ve been reporting on Mahindra upgrading its Bolero SUV for a while now. As per the Indian government's mandate that came into effect on July 1, 2019, Mahindra has started production of the AIS 415-compliant Bolero. The Bolero Power Plus and the 9-seat Bolero Plus have been revised to include safety kit, such as a driver’s side airbag, ABS, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders for the driver and front passenger, a speed warning system and a manual override for the central locking system. Mahindra will also remove child locks from fleet and taxi vehicles at the dealer level.
