Mahindra Bolero With New Safety Features To Launch Soon
Mahindra is all set to give its top-selling vehicle, the Bolero SUV a significant upgrade to its safety features. The new Mahindra Bolero with ABS and airbags will be introduced soon to comply with Bharat New Vehicle Safety Assessment Program (BNVSAP) which will kick in from July 2019. Every car sold in India will have to comply with the new norm, which should include features such as ABS, airbags, seat belt warning light, and reverse parking sensors as a standard feature. According to Moneycontrol, the Mahindra Bolero is the only model in their lineup which does not come with airbags and ABS. Pawan Goenka, managing director, Mahindra & Mahindra, said, "On the crash safety norms, the only product which does not have airbags and ABS in any of the variants is Bolero, and we are working on that right now.
